We are a multi-ethnic community of Muslims who embrace the Qur’an as our scripture and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as our model and example. Our community is a part of the 1.8 billion Muslims around the world and is associated with the leadership of Imam Warith Deen Mohammed (RA) who provided profound commentary and insight into the Bible, Torah and Qur’an. As proud, patriotic American Muslims, we continue to contribute to the betterment and excellence of our families, neighborhoods and the city of Plainfield.

Masjidullah continues to serve as a cornerstone for the Plainfield Community.

• Presently, we serve healthy meals to approximately one hundred residents, every Saturday, through our non-profit, award winning soup kitchen.
• We stress the needs and benefits of education by operating a weekend school for our children. We offer a variety of subjects from religious education to cooking and sewing for both boys and girls. Tutoring is also available for those who need it.
• We participate in and also host interfaith activities in the community. We believe that there is only ONE HUMANITY and that we must all work together to ensure that we leave this world better than we found it.
• We are actively involved in our local politics understanding that our participation is vital in order to make meaningful changes. We know that all votes matter!
• Some of our members own businesses and provide employment for the residents. Additionally, the owners also serve as mentors to the young people who work in their places of business.
• We are committed to doing what we can to continue to improve the Plainfield community and to continue to make Plainfield a great place to live!
